Been a good week this one for international relations. Orders have been taken from Denmark, Italy, USA and Australia which i am mighty pleased about. Not enough to get my hands on that luxury yacht and personal chef but thats not the point.
The point is taking a step back and realising how cool it is that something that was knocked up on my super unreliable macbook has gone through all the processes (most of them Stressful and full of setbacks) and arrived at the departure lounge waiting to go on a journey into the unknown wardrobe of a foreign land.
That someone in Copenhagen is going to spill there unbelievably expensive beer down there Lucky9, or in Ohio an argument with a loved one over nothing in particular is going to be carried out whilst wearing the charcoal Colt, is something that does make me smile. In some small and unimportant (not to me) way these garments are off to become little bits of history, they will be part of that wearers life through good times and through the bad times. To know that they started here in junk towers is very cool indeed. Much cooler than a personal chef (maybe).
Got some cool days coming up at some universities where i have been allowed to go in and preach the junk gospel and eat my bodyweight in chips and cheese , so will post up some pics from these adventures shortly.
For all you Northampton folks if you buy the chronicle on sat you will see my gormless mug in the fashion section with a few words of non wisdom. I have pre-ordered 700 copies to wall paper my office with.
Until next time, stay lucky.
